Opinion of an Industry Related Article:
One article that I read about includes how in the near future, there will be a need for certain workers in the network security field in order to protect self driving companies which make vehicles to protect them from being hacked. One would have to be familiar with how autonomous vehicles work however in order to get such a job relating to this. It is also fascinating how government rules are constantly being updated in order to defend against cyberattacks that relate to self driving vehicles. Some examples of this include how vehicles of this nature can possibly receive ransomware which could prevent people from entering or exiting them and how these types of vehicles could be hacked in terms of being rerouted to another destination which the driver does not agree with. Lastly, I read about strategies such as how it is essential to use machine learning or AI in order to combat the techniques that cybercriminals may use as well as two vehicles communicating with one another regarding whether the data is normal or if it is malicious. Overall, this is a brief synopsis of the article that I read.
